LOL : Lick Over Lips - Ranggamalela (Bandung)

In my old post, I  wrote how jelly I am to another town which has super nice and cheap gelato in that town. But worry not! I found (as far as now) best ice cream shop in Bandung!

Sebenarnya nggak sengaja nemu toko ini karena kita mau ke tempat makan di sekitar jalan Ranggamalela juga. Lokasi tokonya di samping Rangga Point banget, nyungseb dan kecil. Kalau dari luar nggak keliatan sih, tapi ada logo 'LOL' yang familiar banget (sekali lihat bisa keinget terus) dan kita bisa spot that shop!

The thing I regret of is only the lamp that keep turned on even at day :')

To be precise, this shop is located at Jl. Ranggamalela No. 20a, Bandung. If you don't know which is  Ranggamalela road, it is located around UNISBA. If you're going in from the Dukomsel intersection heading to UNISBA, spot the I-Radio location. It's Ranggamalela road. Keep straight on Ranggamalela road for about 2-3 minutes and look at your right, and tara! That's Rangga Point which has LOL ice cream shop beside it.
(or you just can google mapping it.. LOL)

Tempatnya super tiny, but I surprised by the fact that di dalamnya nggak kerasa gerah. Padahal cuaca lagi panas-panasnya. Atau mungkin antusias banget nggak sabar makan eskrim. Penasaran juga udah pernah diceritain temen dan kakak, kata mereka  ini enak banget dan murah.
Aku nggak percaya bisa murah banget karena standar 'cheap' for everyone is so relative.

And yea, I was surprised! A cone with two scoops ice cream (choose-your-own-flavor) is only Rp18.000. Small cup (also two scoops) is also Rp18.000, the large one which consist of three scoops is only Rp22.000. For additional toppings, you only need to add Rp2.000-5.000. And I was sooo confused which flavor to decide. Semuanya kelihatannya enak, if I could I would take all of the flavors, hehe.

Look at the 'Yakult' flavor! :')

The strange flavor which I met here is Yakult; probiotic drink, Black Pistachio (bukannya pistachio itu kacang, kan?) and Bubblegum which has super cute color.

But finally after not-so-long thinking, I decided to take a large cup consist of: Cookies and Cream, Green Tea, and Bubblegum flavor. I thought I'd take the not-so-strange-flavor for my first time trial.. That's also what everyone does right XD

And also without toppings. I want to taste the real flavor of these ice creams, I'm afraid that the real taste wont come out if I add some toppings which have been familiar in my tongue.

Surprised twice. Didn't think this ice cream has gelatin. I thought it was so-regular-and-creamy ice cream which we can found in the pack at the minimarket.. but no. It's so much chewy, even the bubblegum one is much more, that I thought I was eating real bubblegum. Also very sweet and super-like bubblegum.

The green tea one is not so different with any other green tea milk/latte, but this one has a deeper level of green tea. Rasanya manis tapi ada pahit-pahit tehnya. Menurutku aman sih kalau buat yang nggak terlalu suka green tea bernuansa pahit.

Cookies and cream is using our favorite cookies, Oreo! Who doesn't love Oreo? XD
The 'cream' part is really creamy. Ringan but also chewy. Bingung? Sama. This taste is quite different with another same flavored ice cream on the market. This is not milk-tasted but really cream-tasted. It was super good that I crave more! I love it <3

At the end, I thought what kind of ice cream is this? It's not too watery like normal ice cream, not too light like soft ice cream, also not so heavy as gelato.

And if you're curious about the toppings, there it is. According to my friend's experience, we can take the topping ourself! How cute is that XD

The last thing is, this is not the only shop in Bandung. You can find the bigger shop at Jl Emong No. 20, Bandung. It located around Burangrang. And they have waffles menu on that shop! I really need to go there (also since it is so much nearer from my house), maybe this weekend? XD

Someone please take me there I really crave this ice cream more!
